    Default '99 A6 locking madness! – 10-02-2008,12:05 AM
    AARRGGh! Help! My 2.8Q A6 has decided it wants to be locked all the time. I can now only unlock the doors for a fraction of a second before it relocks itself. The RAC gave me a potential "fix" over the phone of taking the batterys out of a remote and holding two buttons for 2 minutes; the key doesn't work now and the alarm goes off. I have a feeling I started it whilst pressing the keyfob earlier- have I reprogrammed something?

    Personally I don't know what your fault could be but you would probably get some answers if you post in the A6 section. Welcome to the forum and good luck with your fault!

    On the bottom right hand side of the page, you'll see a drop-down box marked "Forum Jump". All of the different topics are listed there. Good luck finding a solution!
