Right i've just got my cable and have run an autoscan using vag-com. I am getting the following errors on my car:

16795 - Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected

I'm not very mechanically minded, so what does this mean?

    How do i fix it?

Can i drive it with the error, until i fix it? Or is it going to cause serious problems?

    Cheers

    Hi ickleric
remove the top plastic cover from engine and you'll see a number of black cloth braided hoses,
have a look and see if any are perished or split. Replace any knackered ones and see how you get on- should'nt cause any probs running with it but your fuel economy's not going to be great !

SAI faults give me headaches and I know the systems back to front. Apart from split pressure feed pipes to the SAI inlet valve, there are pump faults, relay problems, wiring and just the fact that this code comes up for no good reason. Go into engine 01, output tests 10 and select through until you get to the SAI run test and see if the pump runs. If it does, get round to the front and check the pipe work for leaks.
