    I'm trying to get my standard stereo out of my car and it won't move i've tried using the audi key and they was usless. is there a way of getting it out or am i gonna have to use a big hammer. need to get it out as i'm traveling to brighton at the weekend.

    any help is appreciated.

    Ive never worked on an Audi before, but in Mk3 golfs you may know that sometimes it is helpful to remove the center console to release the stereo..

    I have a concert II and:

    You have to slot all four keys in the stereo until they click into place and so that you can't pull them back out.
    Current Car: Skoda Octavia vRS Hatch 2.0TDi 170 CR in Candy White
    Outgoing Car: 2007 56 Plate Audi A3 Sport Sportback 2.0TDi 170 PD in Black

    Yup, I have a Concert II and I put all 4 keys in the slots and I think, you give it a slight push to the left and it clicks. Then you just slide it out.

    4 keys i've only got 2.

    do you put 2 in each hole at the bottom of the stereo

    Just one for each slot - the concert II has four slots as its a double din
