Hi all, this is my first post and I hope some expects among can help. My car suddenly developed a misfire as in no firing on no4cyl at all, here are the things I've checked so far.....
    Good spark at lead......
    Swapped spark plug...
    Swapped injector...
    Compression test..11.7bar...
Measured injector resistance..within limits 14-17ohms....Measured voltage output from ECU pin 65, 12.4v briefly then 0v, same at injector end....Checked continuity of wire from pin 65 ecu to injector tis ok.....Checked feed voltage to injector from fuel pump relay, Ok.........................
Still not firing on No4 cyl, I hope i've missed something...any ideas before I submit to a dealer. thx in anticipation

Well with good compression, spark and fuel I would ay the injector isn't being driven from the ECU. You need an oscilloscope to check this or drive it in Output Tests in VAG-COM. The other possibility is a chronic air leak on that cylinder.
