    hey everyone

i was wondering how can i place a radio like this: http://www.alpine-europe.com/index.php?id=dva-9965r ( a rectangular one ) on my golf mk5.. since the stock one is kind of "oval".

is it possible to buy a trim that has the shape to this kind of radios ?

    thank you.

Head for your dealer parts deprtment and order the single DIN radio holder. The bottom half of the thing is a cubby hole.

Mine cost about £15. The rubber mat for the bottom was another few quid.

There are others on the market, but not all are a perfect match for the surrounding trim - it's not worth trying to save a few quid.

Dont forget to factor in for the adaptor harness unless its got the new quad fitting on your aftermarket loom.
I actually miss the little cubby hole on the dash when I drive the GF's car
