I recently put in some Silver star Ultra lights, probably three months ago. there is no moisture or cracks in the light housing.....any ideas on what else i shouls check?

Thought that would be the problem, these silly bulbs. They are rubbish and prone to blowing. You should check your alternator for a steady output but I suggest buying top quality make bulbs, those were probably made in China.

they were made in germany, and they were the highest quality ones i could find.....i talked to the clerk and he said he hasn't heard any complaints about them so im guessing its an electrical problem......alternator you say? could it be anything to do with the fact that they are day running lights (or whatever the technical term is), and they are over used for nothing? i would think that would blow them quicker? maybe not? im a newbie to these tricksy ********

    Language Timothy!

Anyway, it would be a good idea to have the alternator output tested for voltage spikes.
