    hi,can anyone help me.how can i remove a leather gear gaiter for replacement.i manage to get round the base as its elasticated but cannit get it over ther gear nob.please someone!This is for a golf mk4 2002

    welcome to the site.

    is it not along these lines, pull the leather up as far as it will go (like an inverted skirt) then remove the knob of the gear stick alltogether. its fixings may be consealed under the top of the leather
