47k on my 1994 Mk3 Golf GTI

Got a picture of it when it clocked 44444

which conincidently fell as i drove into my car park space at home.

Here we have my old punto and my golf on the way back from picking up the golf, then the proof of my 44444 mileage (just popped over 47k) and then after a nice clean and polish a week or so ago

Mine will have 44,444 in a couple of weeks...... mines a 55 plate though!

Thats got low milage for it's age! Looks really tidy.

Cheers Nick, its in pretty good condition in and out, scratch across the boot where some git keyed it, and stone chips on the front but nothing major for its age. The paint is in decent condition few swirls on it when looked at closely but after a clean and polish it turns our pretty nice.

Alloys were refurbished just before i bought it and only have 1 or 2 minor nicks in them.

I am well pleased with it and hopefully it will last me many more miles

My 2001 Bora 130 PD has just passed 105K and marked the occasion by requiring a new clutch and flywheel - a mere £550 4 weeks before Xmas - AAAARRRGGGHHH!

Still, 105K on the original clutch is pretty good, but out of courtesy, it could just have waited until the new year.

Looks like gruel for the kids this year!

mines just about to turn the 89k mark, she had 79k when i got her, so do about 10k a year... not too bad

I had a 3 door MKIII GTI 8V in Metallic Storm Grey, it was a 96 on an N plate

They made a couple of changes to it that year. Smoked indicators, Gearbox and suspension I think.

The previous owner had a full stainless steel exhaust on it that sounded very nice indeed. The power was up about 15% cos of this.

I had fitted an Alpine CD player as it only had a cassette player. I also got a Thatcham cat1 alarm fitted as well. this had full autoclosure. Windows and Sunroof.

I loved it so much.

Had to get rid of it for a stupid laguna company car. what a load of pants.

I miss her (The Golf, NOT the laguna, now that can rot in hell)
