    Hi

I'm trying very hard to keep my lady's 1995 Golf Cabrio in top nick, and have resorted to self help as the last main dealer bill was £1400 and they didn't/couldn't fix the main problem. The convertible top won't... unless we resort to manual operation. I can't find any manual referring to the hood mechanism - I have both Haynes and the VW TechInfo system. I've searced the Forum and can't find a reference.. I wonder if anyone out there has experience or can source a manual describing the electrohydraulic hood moter system?

    Hi

I can recommend a couple of VW specilaists in the area that may be able to help,

Volkswork in Leeds, 0113 245 7070, or Peter Ellam in Huddersfield, 01484 511087. Both ex customers of mine.

Thanks, but I've just checked their eBahn web trial, and not found anywhere information about electrohydraulic convertible top mechanism - strange?:-{ This is exactly the same as the Techinfo I already have.
