    To clarify the above useful table

    AJM = pd115
    ARL = pd150
    ASZ = pd130 (or 260 in my case )
    ATD = pd100
    AUY = another pd115
    AXR = another pd100

    There are other PDs such as the newer 2.0 TDI with 140bhp/170bhp, and the 1.4 TDI with 75 odd. Also the PD160 Cupra engine.

    To try and be brief

    PD100 & 115 (+ 1.4TDI) share same injectors, 130 & 150 do as well but they flow much more
    PD130 and PD150 share same block - pretty sure they share the same cam as well
    PD150 gets it's boost from a stronger turbo, FMIC and a better map as stock

    Just the man am intrested in your set up as you seem to be where im going i now have my self made larger flow exhaust and am half way through fabricating my fmic after xmas £££s are restored will be going hybrid and injectors... you will have to try and make it up to 1 of the tunning days at chipped uk so can take a look at your set up!!! hopefully as mentioned above as mine was a 115 after some porting of the inlet the lower compression will come into play with more boost compared to the 130, if your internals are stock how are they doing against that bhp ????

    Sort of....

    All diesels have to have multipoint injection or an injector per cylinder as opposed to a petrol engine which can have one per cylinder or simply one that does the whole lot.

    I think what you mean is that the PD's have a separate combined high pressure pump and injector per cylinder as opposed to a conventional diesel that utilises a single central pump and an injector per cylinder that is plumbed back to the pump.

    It seems the 130 is the best all round i think the front mount ic would be an upgrade but as mentioned the 150 turbo is a known to be a bit of an old lag (excuse the pun) you can get great gains on the 130 with just a ecu remap but for turbo upgrade best to go for a hybrid
