    Hi

Got to find a replacement MAP sensor tomorrow maybe from ecp/had/ failing that main dealer.

Apart from main dealer, does Bosch or ??? Make good MAP boost pressure sensors?

One problem on the A3 solved ,now another scan has told.me after 2 weeks of being fine now out of luck with a MAP sensor.

    Thanks in advance

Careful it isn't a wiring fault code as a new MAP won't solve it, there is a VW repair kit for the wiring which has to be run directly into the ECU plug.

Hi crasher, just trying to squeeze another few months before this
A3 goes to scrappy. 2004 2.0 TDI 204,000 miles had it 10 years it's tired. Any link to wiring kit would be appreciated, scanned it with carista. Gsf and euros stocked Bosch so bought that today half the price of Audi. Fingers crossed it's that as that part never replaced in 10 years.

I would fit a new Bosch sensor first, bit of an **** to get at, and then the repair harness if the code returns and this only applies if it is an open/short circuit code.

Hi crasher, back running full power after Bosch map.sensor swapped over. Noticed there was a bit of lag.on acceleration when brake light.switch and the other part I think clutch switch which was popping the.fuse 2 weeks ago. Seems to be bang on point now good going for 204,000 ! Cheers
