Petrol smell outside the car - 1.8t

So this has been bothering me since day one of owning the car. I've had the car for around 4 months now and it was smoking which has stopped since I replaced the valve seals but the petrol smell is still there! Inside the car you don't smell it as much but soon after driving, open the door and there it is. My car has been de-cat'd so not sure if that's the reason but reading on the net, this shouldn't cause it. Just putting it out there for some advice pls?

Not had a petrol for a while but I remember petrol smell as equalling petrol leak. You probably need to get under the tank to have a good look around and continue looking/smelling till you find the leak.

I'd also say its an Emergency because petrol fumes themselves are extremely flammable

It's coming out from the exhaust as it only smells when the car has been running.
