    Hello chaps,

    Thank you for reading this.

My wife informs me that her Air Bag light is ON ?

Also that the front passenger lights do not come on at door opening, but the rear ones do, they are however switchable.

Any info before I spend too many hours chasing the wrong thing.

    Thank you

i dont think the probems are related, however you need a fault read out, of the air bag system to see what has activated, the control lamp

On the airbag warning light, mine was permanently on too (came on one morning after a heavy frost), eventually I managed to get a second hand air bag ecu through 4 ring spares which was a quarter of the price of a brand new item. Talking to a friend of mine who has connections to an Audi main dealer the ecu can be a 'common' fault (or at least they had come across it a few times in the past). Note that a second hand one can be a risky waste of money as if they have deployed airbags in the past they might not be of any use.

Anyway, get a fault code reading first, if it comes up that it can't be reset it is very likely to be the ecu.

Worth getting it looked at though, more than likely the airbags won't deploy in an acident.

Hi the interior light and air bag light are not related but the air bag light is probably down to the ECU . Are there any other solutions to the light being on all the time . Mine just came on one day and never went away .95 A6
