Hi all am removing egr valve to fit new one. Have got the anti shudder section off, and am now trying to undo the 2 hex bolts holding the egr pipe on the bottom, to get to the bottom bolt holding on get...what a pain! Can anyone confirm the size of Allen key for this? And do the come off clockwise! Just watched a video, appeared to be increasing clockwise. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks for that. Can you remember if they are just regular anti clockwise to loosen? I got a bit of movement on one turning that way but it felt like it was tightening?

Lefty loosey righty tighty. The feeling you get could be “Galling” where the softer ally sticks to the steel bolt and destroys the thread as the bolt is removed.
