Pre sense fault please contact workshop

I’m having the above fault on my S Line. I’ve cleaned the windscreen where the sensor is. The warning symbol on the dash occasionally goes away then reappears.

Called Audi and they’ll have a look for a €150 diagnostic charge but anything after that they won’t speculate until they read the fault code.

Just wondering if anyone has had the same fault and how did it end for you? I find pre sense completely useless by the way. In the 4 years I’ve had the car it’s been triggered about 5 times and never in a situation where I had been reckless or endangered myself or others.

Could I be looking at an expensive repair here?

It's a guess, but I had the Yellow broken circle warning, Pre-sense disable etc etc....


I cleaned the window by the camera, make sure you clean it good.
Also check nothing has slipped down inside the glass and causing a shadow or obstruction.

I don't know your version of car, mine has 360 cameras and auto park
The system uses multiple sensors.


Also Cleaning the front camera on mine (in the grill) stopped the problem. (tar spot).
