Diesel Gate Claim?

Hi All,

Has anyone made a claim regarding the emissions software that illegitimately cheated emissions tests?

Apologies if this has been covered before but I can’t find anything apart from links to claims agents!

What engine are you claiming on? We’ve got a 2010 3.0tdi, is this engine included do you know?

Not sure about the 3.0tdi. Mine is the 2.0tdi CR170. If you've been offered the emissions fix by Audi then that's a good indicator that your engine is one of the affected ones and this claimable.

Same as everyone else really...because the emissions and fuel economy figures were part of my decision to buy the car and Audi had deceived me.

The emissions citied in the case were never published and the fuel consumption is supposed to have not be affected.

I can not see how anyone has anything to claim for, nobody has lost anything personally .... the vehicle tax rate has never been changed to compensate for the increase they say was happening... so things like company car tax has not changed...

The only people that would benefit are the money grabbing solicitors that are doing the work, if anyone thinks they are going to make money are wrong...

Vehicle manufactures may have conned the emissions, these companies claiming for the owners are conning the owners ....

I would think they would need to prove that the motorist is loosing money which I think they may find very hard to prove....

I’m only interested because I’m left with a car that’s pretty much worthless. When I bought the car diesel was not the despised fuel that it now is. The whole world is now against anything that isn’t electric. Now the London mayor is going to tax non compliant vehicles within the South Circular £12.50 a day to try and drive down roads he’s also decided to shut off with giant and probably very expensive plant pots.

If I haven’t been deceived into buying a car that I thought was more economical that it actually is (it doesn’t sound like I have to be honest) then I won’t bother looking into it any further.
