2017 Golf Mk 7.5 Headlight Upgrade

Hi all,

Coming back from a long trip, I realised the standard halogens on my 2017 facelifted Mk 7.5 Golf are not gonna cut it.
I did quite a bit of research on possible headlight upgrades - everything seems to be focused around making the Mk7 look like a Mk 7.5.

I am running standard VW halogen bulbs.

I found something like this: Ebay Link. Stupid expensive, but not completely out of reach. Could this be plug an play in lieu of halogen?

Xenon will also do, but no idea what kits to use or how.

Ideally OEM would be preferred, but if not possible, a good aftermarket solution will be appreciated.

Sorry for the jittery photo, but this is how my headlights look at night - not the worst, but certainly could do better.

I would suggest that initially you switch the bulbs for something like the Osram Nightbreaker and see if that helps. Replacing the headlight units for Xenon's will be very expensive and require additonal things like self-levelling as they will not support the manual leveling function you currently have, all adding to the cost.
