Just wondering how long it takes before your heated seats start to reduce the temperature setting?

The manual states that the temperature should automatically decrease after a (unspecified) period of time. If I set the temp to max it seems to remain at that setting and I have to reduce it manually as it becomes uncomfortably hot

TBH, it depends on interior temperature.

There is a Temp Control Unit in each seat (TCU) it will have 3 pre set temps.

1 low
2 Medium
3 High

Like any heating setting. To hot turn it down.

Guessing an error in the manual. That is not how the seats work. Read above.

If it’s like the C7 model they will reduce from setting 3 down to setting 2 after about 20 minutes - it then stays on setting 2 until you manually adjust it.

Agreed for the C7, but not C8
