    Hi.

Does anyone know how to keep the MMI on i.e when playing music when the car is off and you open the drivers door?

    I own a A6 - 2014 plate Ultra

A couple of times, my family have been in the car, and iv popped out to go local shop for instance and short of leaving the engine running which im trying to avoid, anyone know a way of keeping MMI on with engine off when opening drivers door. My car is keyless start but NOT keyless entry.

Leave engine running get out and let wife turn off engine once you close the door

Or enable lock while running then leave and just lock car door with remote

With the engine off and keys out, try pressing the on/off button.

Hi ignition off press media button screen will come up and radio or whatever you use, iPod, DVD will come on volume only from the knob by the start button. It will turn off after about 5 min but you get a warning or simply repeat the above. Mine is a FL but would think the same for earlier.

Yes this works (hours of hanging around waiting to pick the kids up taught me this) it stays on for about 15 minutes after first activation then warns you it is about to sleep, to keep awake you just prod the button again.
