Best Settings for B&O Sound System. What do you use & why?

Hi all,

Not sure this has been covered, so I thought I would ask.

A big fan of audio & like a great sounding system, both in my car & at home. I ticked the Comfort & Sound pack option & have been pretty happy with the B&O setup for over 1 year.

My previous Audi had the Bose system & got this setup perfect from day 1.

I went into the sound settings today and spent 30 mins tweaking & playing various types of music.

Everything was default to 0.

I have adjusted to the following.

Treble +2
Bass +3
Sub +2
Surround level +2

TBH it does sound a lot better & punchy where it seemed a bit flat before.

The issue is that I'm now finding some types of music are very boomy and not to my liking.

I do listen to all music types & tried various. Rap, Classic, R&B, Rock, Pop, Dance etc...

Some Pop, Dance & Rock tracks sounded far to boomy :-(

Please help?

Maybe you need to have the flat default settings to allow the playing of all music types without adjusting the settings? That would make sense to a degree.

Agree, but the depth of the sound is far better at lower volumes now vs having it set to flat for over 1 year.

I did tweek it further today & settled on the following. Not boomy & far more to my liking.


Treble +3
Bass +2
Sub +3
Surround level +2
