How would I go about fixing this?
Out of the 3 wires going into the connector for the Aux water pump one has broke right at the connector.

Are new connectors available or will I have to take another route?

I had the exact same issue a few weeks back the same wire of the three as well. The plugs are available so I just replaced the whole plug. They are the same plugs as the Parking sensors. Part no is 3C0973203 or 4H0973703. I bought one pre fitted with cable tails I used one of these to splice to the snapped cable (as there was not enough cable length to just fit a new pin onto the old cable where it had snapped) and just repinned the other two into the new plug.

Excellent thanks, never had such a quick reply. I'm assuming that the connector is shared across the C6 range?

I've tried to solder the wire back on, I've got it to stick but I'm unsure if it's sorted the issue or not as it might not be a good contact.
When you fitted the new plug did you have to wipe error codes? I ask as my engine light is still illuminated.

your best bet for a DIY repair is to remove the pin from the plug and take the small wire out and solder the pin to the wire in the loom.

The pins are available on ebay just type VW connector pins into the search bar. Some are the MQS pins (tiny ones) or the junior timer type.

Strange! After soldering the wire back together yesterday the engine light did not go out, but it did change slightly as before it was on constantly but after soldering it comes on when I turn the key but also flicks off when starting the engine then back on again!
To my surprise this morning the engine light went out. So my temp fix may have worked, just strange how it didn't go out yesterday.
I've order a replacement plug so a proper fix is next.

A proper fix is to just replace the pin which is a MQS pin they cost pennys.

If your using the new plug then remove the pin from the new one and replace it with the single damaged one other wise you are cutting good wires.

Just move the pink locking tab to the left and then press on the visible part of the pin the housing and pull out the pin with the wire.

This is the ideal repair if the cable length of the snapped cable allows just re termination of the pin. In my case the cable length did not allow this, this is why i had to splice in a new connector with wire tail. (An in line splice is still a “proper” and permanent repair when done correctly). The other two wires cables were not cut and the pins were just moved to the new connector.
