I have the wonderful joys of broken wires in the drivers side wiring loom in the door to car section. How easy is it to remove to the loom and replace with a new one? I have managed to get the loom disconnected from the car body but i just cant seem to figure out how to actually free it from the door (i was originally going to crimp the first broken one i saw until i noticed previous owner had dodged 4 others together with blue tape and all the other cables look ready to snap. Just asking for any tips as i can only work on the car after 6pm due to work and i have no garage so i got wet and cold today 😅

Have you exposed the wiring as far as the door control units? It's typically things like zip-ties with a "barb" pushed into a hole in the door structure that keep it in place. A tack-lifter underneath will usually pull them out. Do you have something different?
