    Hi Everyone,

    First time poster here

I should be taking delivery fairly soon of my new A6 40 TDI S-Line that has the "Tech Pack" option. I'm just wondering if anyone else has the tech pack and can measure the size of the charging pad so I can see if my phone will actually fit. I probably should of measured it myself during the test drive but completely forgot about it and the dealer isn't being much help.

Hopefully my experience with a C8 A6 will be better than my previous Mercedes!

    James

What phone do you have? My iPhone 11 Pro Max in a case fits in there no problem with ample space around it?

You’ll definitely be ok. The 12 Pro Max is only slightly larger than the 11 and should still have space around it. Enjoy!

I’ll pop out and take a couple of pictures in a minute so you can see the 11 in there.

iPhone X work phone first and then iPhone 11 Pro Max second.

I didn’t realise quite how close I am with the 11 in its case. There is probably an extra 5-6mm width and 8-9mm length even with the chunky case I have on my phone currently which I think will give you plenty of space for the iPhone 12. At least it won’t slide around too much under acceleration and braking.

Edits to photo to remove reflection of view right up my nose for your own protection!!!
