Hello everyone a newbie to this forum.

I have a 2014 1.6tdi Passat estate variant. Recently when I used my rear washer jet water was leaking into the boot area. Is there any easy way to remove the roof panel at the back in order to find the leak, or is it better to let the garage sort out. Thanks for any help.

I can only think that VAG use Valeo is they are cheap because their products are woefully unreliable and damage VAG's reputation... I hope the high voltage parts they make for electric cars fare better. It's been going on for more than two decades, the Golf 2 was recalled in the early 90's because the heater matrix exploded blowing boiling water all over your legs, guess who made the matrix?

I had the same issue. The washer pipe splits where the bundle passes through the tailgate hinge.

Took my local garage 6 hours...while I waited.

I would have hated to done it myself though.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. After what you have said it confirms my suspicion that it is going to be a difficult job, so I think I will book it into the garage so they can have them look at it.
