    Hi all

having trouble getting the 3rd brake light out and wanted to ask best way before I go piling in and messing it up. It's on a B6 estate with the little overhang at the back, See photos.

Should I wedge the light out or go through the overhang panel holding it in place?

    Thanksthirdbrakelight1.jpgthirdbrakelight2.jpg

You can only take this off from the inside.
Take off the trim and you should see a couple of screws holding it in place.

I took it in to VW and even they cannot take it out as whole top section is bonded on to tailgate and not accessible from tailgate. they said they have to send it to a coachworks to do the unbonding/bonding £280 charge. Have decided a big screwdriver will do the job, just waiting for the part now
