    Hi all,
    anyone done the above?
looking at getting updated maps, however I have read conflicting advice that the MMI may need updating first?

also, one place sells these as a download, will the MMI 3G basic read maps off an SD card?

    anyone have recommendations or advice?

My current maps are horrendously out of date! Plus MMI is a little slow, thinking an update might sort that out?

    cheers

you need to read your mmi version to detemine which update cd you need K0260 is the last update for the 3G Basic MMI, i cant remember if the SD card option will work for the maps on the 3G basic MMI. its normally read from the Navigation DVD.

the codes on the left are the part numbers for the update CD's which can be bought from Audi they are only a few pounds each for new. If downloading can you trust the source not worth it to save few quid.

You need to get all of the CD's and do them one after another.

Don't skip any of them as you can't go back and you will miss some updates.
