Airbag light randomly appeared 2 weeks after warranty expired

Hey guys,

looking for a little help, have had my C7 A6 2017 2.0 ultra Avant since it was new, and tbh its been one of those cars where there always seems to be something wrong.

having had the MMI replaced
Alarm replaced
battery replaced
passenger seat replaced
front bumper repainted ( as I could peel the paint off with my fingers)
and probably a number of other things I have since forgotten.. - however I love the car.

today however, I am considering my options.

I got in the car this morning, and now the Airbag light is on, on the dash for no real reason. and yep you guessed it, its run out of warranty - so apparently its £120 just for Audi to look at it.

are there any common faults here, or has anyone had this issue up until now?

having just moved to Nottingham it would be great to know if there are any other members local.

I believe Crasher who a main contributer to this forum has a garage in Nottingham.
Needs a scan to see what faults are listed.

I second that, if he can't fix it it's probably not fixable.

If the car is only just out of warranty and you have a good relationship with dealer you bought/serviced it from I would go back to them and see about goodwill
