Parking Sensor Display

I've just coded my A6, via VCDS, to show the rear parking sensor view when selecting reverse gear.
However, each time I select reverse the MMI display shows a scrambled picture but gives the option of "Graphic". If selected then the correct display shows.

Is there a way to go straight to the correct display on gear selection and avoid the scrambled picture?

You have coded the reverse camera option, do you have a camera system fitted?

If so then there is fault on the camera or cable.

If not then just recode the module.

+1 = Trailer Hitch installed
+2 = Rear View Camera installed Change this to 0 if no trailer hitch is installed and no camera is installed.

0 = Manual Transmission
1 = Automatic Transmission
0xxx?xx: Specification
0 = ECE Countries (without reinforced bumper)
1 = ECE-Countries (S-Model without reinforced bumper)
2 = USA (with reinforced bumper)
3 = USA (S-Model with reinforced bumper)
0xxxx?x: Chassis
0 = Sedan
1 = Avant (Wagon)
4 = SUV
0xxxxx?: Model
6 = Audi A6 (4F) / Audi Q7 (4L)

Doh! I don't have a camera but I do have a trailer hitch. I'll re-code tomorrow and post back.

Recoded as suggested and the problem has gone. Rear parking sensor visual display on the MMI when reverse gear selected. Why wasn't this activated in the factory?

It was only enabled for cars with both front and rear sensors.
