Audi Connect App Features

Hi all,

What features are avaialble for 2015/16 Audi Q7 on Audi Connect app, can someone share their experience with the app as it seems very limited for me. I have attached the screenshots of how my app interface looks.

Videos of Audi connect app looks a lot different with more features available - do we not have these features available in UK ? Video links below;

You shuold connect your car via the vehicle connection menu, and after this with the pressing of the little icon on the middle of the map you will be able to send addresses to your car. Also you can add RSS feeds for Audi connect, traffic information, and radio stations too. This is very useful if you link your phone to the car, as in this case you will be able to listen and select the pre-selected net radio with your MMI.

However, the app in general is not the one I used to use, as in itself it's not a very useful thing.

Hi AT, I have linked my phone to the car and all those seems to work fine. My question was regarding the features available to Audi Connect, the videos shows a lot more features but they are not available on my app.

The video shows the new system, which introduced in the MY19(?). These features are unfortunately not available for the former models, as these needs the built in SIM card and so on things. Or at least I received this infrormation from my local Audi.

ah that's a bummer, any way to enable those features for pre 2019 cars? we do have a sim car slot for our cars right

As far as I know, these features requeres a different built in SIM card, and the new central control unit. What I learnt, that some of these could be applicable to our car, but it needs to add the "SOS" button and new system components for a huge money. Maybe Andyhud could help you out with more information, as he's the one who can do everything which is possible and sometimes some impossible miracles too
