Hi guys/girls, just hoping for some advice really.
We recently bought a 2007 Touran 1.9tdi bxe it has 92000 miles full vw service history and had just had a new clutch/flywheel prior to our purchase( found out after we bought it that it was a single mass flywheel not dual)
The car is great apart from a nasty rattly vibration that comes on at about 1800 revs and stops at about 2300 revs. It is worse if you accelerate hard but always there. It sounds like it is coming from the left side of the engine where the gearbox is located.
If you sit in it in neutral and rev there is no rattle at all only when moving under load.
I have been thinking either flywheel or driveshaft/cv or maybe a slightly knackered injector.
Sorry its a long post and thanks in advance for any help you could give. I just don't really know where to start and don't want to throw needless money in the wrong direction
    Cheers
    Neil.

Yes this happens when the job is botched with an SMF, the key point of a DMF is to absorb vibration. Also, get the con rod bearings and bolts replaced, skip this on a BXE at your peril! Question BXE 1.9 TDI engine failure

Thanks for the reply, so would you think I need to rip all that out and start again with the flywheel or is it salvageable? The clutch operation is good. Also I have been reading about the con rod bearings. As you seem super knowledgeable on all things vag do you have a price in mind that I should expect to pay.
Thanks again for the reply crasher.

Yes, start again with a full LUK kit. I would expect you to pay around £1k for the two jobs done together at the same time including an oil and filter change.
