Just looking into adding this too, is it difficult to connect to the MMI properly? I’ve noticed you can cheat and take a feed from some other wiring in the door but I’d prefer to do it properly like this if I can.

Hi mate I’m looking into this aswell, from what I’ve read it’s easy enough to connect the wiring up properly to the door module then add/code with software, that’s the way I would do it, I’m not sure where the centre console lights plug/wire into yet.
I also removed my door card yoday expecting to find a blank to remove ti for the light bar but seen nothing to suggest I could do it, altho apparently I can.
Also seen a plug not used and was wondering what that was for

What did you connect the door lights up to to adjust the brightness on the MMI?
