    You do understand if anything goes wrong you may have invalidated your warranty? Google TD1.

    I was told by my mechanic that a remap wouldn't affect my warranty but that doesn't appear to be the case!
    I understand that some manufactures do offer ECU remapping services, Volvo for instance allows main dealers to remap their vehicles under the Polestar badge, and Mercedes under Brabus
    Do Audi offer their own remaps?
    I'm getting cold feet now!

    I recently applied a Kufatec dongle for speed signs
    Is that type of modification considered in the same way as a remap?

    I don't think so, but don't quote me on that, I would equate that to enabling needle sweep. But?

    It's always worth, when adding anything to the car, and this is so important for remaps / tuning boxes is ALWAYS talk to your insurance co.

    I would say not, I haven't for either speed signs or auto dip. Insurances companies are really only interested in things that change the way the car performs or handles. So that would include things like remapping, changing the size of the wheels or tyres, doing suspesion modifications
