Hi , i have a Audi A3 8P7 1.6TDI 2011 I do a lot of miles circa 25k a year and i know my DPF is getting full checked via vcds ,however i am always one that likes to be on top of things with my car so i have been searching for a new DPF and have sourced one for just under £500 with fittings .Normaly iwould tackle anything regarding the exhaust system but i have noticed that in order to remove the actual dpf as a full unit the front subframe looks like it needs to be removed .I don't have use of a garage anymore so it would have to be on the drive ,i also know i would be sensible to replace the diff pressure sensor that would need adapting along with the dpf reset via vcds..As anyone had any experience of doing this or is it just as easy to get a indy garage to do it if it's not a long job..As said it looks to me like front subframe could be the longest part of the job ...Thanks
