    Hi All,

Well my wonderful Golf Mk4 VR6 4Motion 2003 year - decided to display on the clocks - 'Oil Sensor Workshop' - Yellow oil can and EPC light illuminated - I have checked the engine oil level using the dipstick and the level is normal.

I have completed a scan and got the below faults:

    Address 17: Instruments
    VCID: 285F9E85C8228801A7-5140
    WVWZZZ1JZ3D014338 VWZ6Z0B0246226

    4 Faults Found:
    00779 - Outside Air Temp Sensor (G17)
30-10 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent
    00667 - Ambient Temperature Signal
30-00 - Open or Short to Plus
01330 - Central Control Module for Central Convenience (J393)
    49-10 - No Communications - Intermittent
    00562 - Sensor for Oil Level/Temperature (G266)
30-00 - Open or Short to Plus

I presume this is the important one

    00562 - Sensor for Oil Level/Temperature (G266)
30-00 - Open or Short to Plus

I have cleared fault codes - then cycled the ignition 3 or 4 times then the message returns

I also noticed the CLIMAtronic unit has stopped working - not sure if this is connected or not?

I also noted the following faults in the Engine module:

    Address 01: Engine
    VCID: 51A91361CB38A9C910-515E

    3 Faults Found:
16795 - Secondary Air Injection System
    P0411 - 002 - Incorrect Flow Detected
17819 - Secondary Air Injection System; Bank 2
    P1411 - 002 - Insufficient Flow
    16955 - Brake Switch (F)
    P0571 - 008 - Implausible Signal

All help greatly received Thanks All
