    The rear ones are hidden behind the rear bumper (just between the light clusters and exhaust tails), and used for the side assist. If they fail, they stop the brake assist and ACC functioning, despite the fact they don’t technical need the rear radars.

    Yeah it’s a pain the ACC doesn’t default to regular on failure, however if it did, imagine a lapse of memory, it’s not worth considering and I expect why it doesn’t.

    If these had failed on yours, I’d expect a VCDS error on “3C Lane Change”

    Turns out they had been switched off, pressed the button and the blind spot system is back on, not sure who turned it off though.
