Seen a car locally for breaking

I need a rear bumper but this one is a 1.9 tdi 105 bhp

Will the exhaust kit fit my car at all

Don’t mind cutting the middle pipe if need be

Anyone know what the difference between the 2.0 140 and 1.9 105 exhaust conversion is

    Thanks

I remain very confused about what you're trying to do from the other thread and this one. I think you showed that your current exhaust on the ramp at MOT has the downward pointing, behind the bumper tips.

Did you get a bumper with the cut out for straight tips, and are now looking far an exhaust that will fit there?

Or have you not yet got bumper, or exhaust, etc and are thinking of taking both from this other car?

To answer your question, I think the 1.9 (assuming it is BLS or BXE engine) has a 50mm exhaust pipe, while you have 55mm. Looking at replacement parts it looks like they take the same path, so if you take get some form of adapter in the clamp just before the rear box and assuming it doesn't mess with back pressure too much could well work.

I have the exhaust and the sleeve measures 57mm ish so maybe it will fit

The exhaust does get bigger just before the clamp so maybe it was designed for a 2.0 after all

Will let you all know next week

I could take the end part off or use the whole lot

I’ll fit the bumper and take the exhaust in the car and try borrow a ramp for an hour

Isn't there a big, boxy bit missing from that?

It’s a conversion so most look like that online

Mine doesn’t have a box part in the middle like the 170 anyway

    Just the exhaust to do

The bits where they join go to 55mm and are 50mm in the middle

May cut at the back or more in the middle see how it goes

All the mounts are in the same place between the 1.9tdi and the 2.0

I didn’t have to adjust or cut anything
