Yes, that was the initial issue, and I accept your point.

But the more I delved into the problem it seemed that this was going to be too much chew.

At 66 I just need a simple solution and remembering to set up Wi-Fi hotspots and the like wasn't what I needed.

I'd only just mastered the art of remembering to turn on Bluetooth and mobile data before I got in the car.

At the end of the day the problem was actually not having the data connection for the car so for me the easiest solution

was to get a separate sim card. Now I only have to remember to turn on Bluetooth for calls, and if I forget then the worst that can happen

is that wife can't contact me.

With the Sim card at lease I'll still have my google earth working.
