HI I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for the correct airbag I need to fit a FBSW that I have bought for my 2009 A9 ?

The steering wheel part number is 8J0419091H

I have been told that there are a few part numbers that will fit but would be grateful for any advice or applicable part numbers

    Thank you

That looks like an A3 part number. Matching airbag units appear to be 8J0880201J, or with L or N suffix.

Thank you for your reply - does that mean that only A3 airbag units will fit A3 steering wheels ?

Once you get to the decorative bit that fits the wheel I'd expect so. There are also different wiring looms for each model, coupled with control units and I think the steering angle sensor starts to get involved. There are stories elsewhere of people trying to untangle similar things for fit MFSW that is broadly right for their model, but not era. Have a read of a few to see if it helps.

Personally, I'd be very unwilling to have something fitted that might trigger itself or other airbags due to confused control signals.
