    Hi,

My brother in law has just bought a 2019 VRS.
He loves everything apart from the Stop Start which he hates.
What is the easiest way to disable permanently?
    I have VCDS .
I did it on my Audi a long time ago by altering some parameter concerning air con , if I remember correctly.
I'm sure someone out there has just the setting I need,
    Please share.

    Thanks

Can you change the voltage it kicks in at. I've just ordered a Octavia and hoping this will be the first modification.

I have Skoda Superb with stop/start, it does not bother me really, if like mine the car is a DSG then you can control it with the brake pedal... or tur it off with a switch on the console if you dont want it..

With a DSG it works on the pressure on the brake pedal... if you come to a stop and know you may be a while then I just let it stop. once, for instance the lights change I lift the pedal slightly and the car starts ready to move off... if on the other hand I know I am only stopping for a short while, once you come to a stop just lift the pressure on the brake pedal slightly and the engine keeps running... takes some getting used to but once mastered it is easy to control and only needs a slight lift of pressure..
