Hi all, I’ve had my car for nearly 3yrs, now at 50k mls car probably will be needing brake pads and discs on all four corners.

Any ideas on where get these fitted at reasonable price? As my local Indy quoted nearly £1,300 for all. Is that good price or expensive?

Are pads/discs expensive on this car?
Any recommendations on where to buy parts from?

As with some guidance I can probably attempt to replace the bits myself.

Apologies if this is already discussed before but I struggled to find specific post.

    Any help would be Appriciate.

I've posted about this. Had my fronts done a while ago and rears this year.

My local Audi dealer charges less than the price you've been quoted.

There’s a couple of threads about this - I had fronts/rears discs and pads changed for something like £1,650 at dealers. However original quote was just over £2k. All because they’d moved away from Audi fixed price servicing which was applicable on cars older than 3yrs. If your car is over 3 now just see what the fixed throws up on the website.

It was the good old Sytner group - the three in East Mids had (no idea if still are) come away from this yourAudi Fixed price services < Account < Audi < Audi UK but managed to get then within few £££s which ultimately whilst expensive I was happy with.

Aftermarket Pagid is very good value but OE is usually Brembo on the Q7.

Here you will find a big choice:

Textar on front and TRW on rear are usually mounted originally in Q7 3.0TDI (4M). But also other, well known brands as Brembo, ATE, Pagid, etc. are also OK.
