    Hi all.

I have just tried to connect my VCDS to my Q5 R8 and all I am getting is.

    Scan; auto detect.
Function not supported by the gateway.

I am running VCDS Release 20.4.2 and have tried selecting my car in the dropdown box but just keep getting the same message.

If I try opening module's seperatley it tells me it cannot read them.

    Am I missing something.

    All help received with thanks.

    Dave. Q5 R8 3.0L 13 plate

Do you have the ignition powerd up (but not car started necessarily)? Do LEDs on the lead flash to show something is happening? Did you go into the settings screen to test and save the connection?

Were you connecting it to try and check the cause of some other power problem?

Not sure what Vbat should say. I'll try and connect mine later to see what is shown.
