Hey guys, i rencently acquired a nice pale blue 1.6 petrol audi a4, when i got it the eml was on and the fan was on high speed constantly. So i just cleared codes with my cheapo reader until i can get my vag com. I took the car for a drive it drove ok needs droplinks by the sounds of it, when i was going up a hill i lost a bit of power and it hesitation but kind of cleared up again.

The rad fan is constantly on again once ignition is turned on but no eml now.

Right now i have changed oil and filter and air filter it was way overdue. Cleaned the maf sensor was quite crusty but havent been able to test drive since. Previous owner fitted new plugs so im guessing the hesitation has been there a while, from my live data on cheapo diagnostic both lambda probs are reading fine. There is also a slight bit of what smells like oil breather fumes coming into cabin what should i be looking for there?

Any insight would be great ill soon have vag com for more help.

    Thanks

Hi just got back fault code p1293, is this the sensor near the radiator? My gauge is working fine and sitting in the middle. Would this cause overfueling?

    Thanks
