Hi all

I've tried searching, is there a definitive list of changes between the two models?

I have a deposit on a MY20 car and apart from fully automatic parking, what are the other differences?

I've asked but automatic parking is the only thing they can see - I've asked for further clarification. Wondered if anyone else on here knew from a less biased source.

Do you have 360 cameras on your spec? You can't have 360 cameras and self parking together (at the moment)

MY2021:

1/ Park Assist Plus with 360 degree cameras.
2/ DAB radio as standard.
3/ No more Bose sound system. Replaced by B&O.
4/ Probably new engine software due to Euro 6d regulations valid as of January 1st, 2021.
5/ No more TDI in SQ7/SQ8. Replaced by 4.0 TFSI

Honestly, before my Q7, I never thought I could miss a 360 cam with a semi-automatic self parking system. Now I know what is a must have combo for me in a car like this. IMHO, I still can't understand what was in their mind to drop this option from a later model. IMHO they were silly to think, that no one will miss these in this price range and with such competitors.

Probably it will be possible to retrofit Park Assistant Plus also in MY2020 by adding "P" button (replacement) and the right coding. Many Audi retrofitting fans are looking for the right coding but so far without success.

360 cameras are nice, but semi auto parking, maybe I’m old skool but parking myself unassisted for years I can’t say I would need that feature, but like you said if you didn’t have it you wouldn’t miss it.

Well, I felt this way before I had these. However when I tried to park backwards in the dark into a garden via a small garden door in a narrow street, than I felt the true Freedom. With the A6 it wasn't an easy thing to do, and I always hated to to this. About the 360° cam: If I entered an A6/C7 during a service period I felt, that the formerly liked parking radars are almost "useless", as "I can't see what I'm doing", mostly on the narrow parking places. So by these, now I can park wherever I want, on such places I never intend to try to park with my former A6. Small things, but great successes
