There is a filter part number 0B5325330A listed for various of the Pxx gearbox codes, but can't see anything similar for the QLX.

Hi all, I am about to do my tranny oil and I'm also looking for answers regarding the tranny filter(s)

My A6 is a 2.0TDI Ultra, C7 facelifted, or as some say C7.5

Looking at the sticker in the spare wheel compartment my "Engine and Gearbox code" is CNHA RLB

I have been trying to find the "little mini" external cylinder filter housing by looking down from the top of the engine but without and luck...

I am assuming that a internal sump filter does exist in the oil pan, located under the gearbox, but is there also a "small mini" external cylindric filter somewhere and if so, where?

    Evening All

Enquired today with my local audi dealer about the price of a stronic gearbox service and a cambelt and water pump change, as mentioned earlier in the thread the fixed price menu is no longer on their web page, but the price i was quoted seems to be the same as it was.

I've done some calling around here in Surrey. £289 (Inc. Vat) is the cheapest so far, it's a reputable specialist company.
    https://www.pscautocentre.co.uk/coll...l-drive-models

Audi dealer would probably be more costly.

7l of Mannol 8202 DCT fluid is £44.95 and a internal sump filter is £29 which puts the labour cost to about £200.
I for one would like to DIY, just need to know what filter(s) to order.

As far as I have found out, my 2.0TDI C7.5 non quattro has a so called DL382 -7Q (0CJ/0CK/0CL/0DN) Stronic box and not the so DL501 as some others, but I still don't know if I have the external cylinder filter as well as the internal sump filter....

Fixed price servicing of my S-Tronic transmission oil & filter change was £245 at my local Audi dealer. I found that if I used the Audi owners' site and my local dealer wasn't offering the prices online, I tried other dealers listed till I found one and then use that price as my benchmark.

So, after alot of research I have found out that my gearbox does not appear to have any filter(s)...?

Not even the "flat" filter inside the gearbox oil sump.

Around 2015, the A6 started to come with the DL382 gearbox, superceeding the DL501

Both are very similar, 7-gear, dual (wet) clutch but with some significant differences. One difference is that the DL382 box does not have any external filters, nor (as mentioned) a sump filter. It has 3 filters inside the "mechatronic" but that is a unit inside the gearbox and is as far as I understand it "maintenence free" and more complicated to get access to.

So this leads me to believe that a "gearbox oil service" on cars with the DL382 gearbox does not involve a filter change, only the DSG fluid (G055529A2) is changed.

The A6 with the DL501 gearbox would have a small cylinder external filter and a flat filter just above (inside) the oil pan.
A easy way to spot the difference between the DL382 box and the DL502 is that the bottom oil pan is plastic on the DL382 and metal on DL502, also, the drain and fill plugs are plastic on the DL382 and metal on the DL502
