About a year ago my car failed on the transit bushes and seeing it was 18 years old I figured it was better to replace both left and right wishbones so bought a pair of cheap chinese wishbones complete with all bushes and balljoints. Transit bushes were a very tight fit but everything went together and I did the tracking afterwards using the 5L oil can and string method. Weeks later I noticed marked wear on the inside edge of both front tyres. Is there a possibility that there is a problem with the geometry of the chinese wishbones?. Oh, and by the way, the car has just failed the MOT on the nearside balljoint which was part of the aforementioned kit bought 12 months ago. I won't be buying chinese anymore as it is clearly a false economy.

I think the short response to "Is there a possibility that there is a problem with the geometry of the chinese wishbones?" would be "Yes". Exactly what problem and getting past a 50:50 guess would be harder to comment on.

I did the tracking again, this time with a builders laser level and toeing-inwards 1/4 inch, and the problem has been solved-with new tyres no sign of scrubbing after 500 odd miles of use.
