    Audi a4 b5 1.8t 1999

Due to the car being fairly low the ac pipe has took damage and I've been struggling to find a replacement.

Would I get away with using a repair section if so what is the I. D on the metal hose. Linky.. 1/2 in O/D PIPE: CONNECTOR REPAIR JOINER STRAIGHT AIR CON FUEL LINE FITTING | eBay

Or is there another solution like will other models fit the same.?

Or could I get a reinforced hose and clamp it?

    Thanks

You can see the pipe is now flat and currently has a hole in it IMG_20191008_163843.jpg

If you Google AC line repair there are a couple of companies in the UK who say they can help, from a quick look both the lines to the compressor are long obsolete.

Depending on where the hole is and what it looks like (split, pinhole, etc) I'd consider something inventive like drilling to put a self-tapper or bolt in. But the allou is likely to develop more fatigue splits pretty quickly.

Could an welder put a patch on it? Worth looking at local industrial estates for alloy fabricators perhaps - there's a lot of unexpected gadgetry on your doorstep sometimes.

Thanks for the advice it's looking like il have to remove the line and have it sent off to have another one made as its been scrapped to thin for any type off repair.

I was hoping the similar models from the vw and audi cars have the same lines but finding a breaker is near impossible I've been hunting for a while now I can't even find the cream leather interior as mine is badly worn

I get the compressor to condenser line as 8D0 260 701 H and the receiver/drier to compressor line as 8D0 260 707 H, bang those into Google and they are readily available. I am not sure about the £23 Thermotec one but Vemo is good stuff at £100.
