Hi all. A few weeks backs I bought a 07 plate A4 cabriolet with 59000 miles on the clock. It was driving well apart from cold starts could sometimes feel like the battery or starter was a little weak. So put a new battery on as the old looked like it had been there quite some time. This is when the problems started. Firstly after clearing all the codes the rear exhaust temp sensor flagged up. It never put the dash light on but was there. Cleared the code and it then pulls the dash light on. On inspection the cable had got a bare wire showing from been rubbed through and various splits in the outer cable. I drove it home and then it went into limp mode. I bought a replacement sensor and new pipe section as it was fused together. Now I am getting 2 codes that will not clear one being p2002 particle trap bank one efficiency below threshold and the other p1650 missing message from instrument cluster. Also dpf light is now showing in the multi function display. I attempt to clear the codes but they are coming back instantly without running the car which I thought was odd as surely it would need to run if it was to say DPF blocked. With the scanner I have it says the particle filter mass is 34 and ash loading is 15%. Surely that’s still good to go isn’t it. Any idea on what else I should be looking at. Thanks in advance

Oh forgot to say car is still stuck in limp mode
