    Hi all,

I've potentially done something really daft.

I have a Seat Alhambra SE-LUX 2015 and have had problems with sun roof opening. I couldn't find any advice and the local garages suggested checking the fuses. I'm an electronics engineer by trade so decided to do this myself. I took photos of the fuse panel before starting to pull fuses and pulled each fuse one by one.

After testing every fuse under the dash and in the engine bay the car won't start, not even crank over. I now can't find the photos of the fuse boxes, my phone has either not saved, deleted them or put them in a random file but they're not in the photo gallery.

The AA guy couldn't connect his computer initially as the car and laptop wouldn't talk. After 15 minutes the software connected and identified 8 or 9 faults. It took a while to clear the faults but the car still didn't start.

We replaced relay 100, in the engine bay fuse box, to no effect. The AA guy removed relay 100 and bridged the sockets for pins 3 and 5 of the relay and the car starts.

Without the bridge across the relay sockets the car will not start or even attempt to turn over.

I need my car for work and all local garages are fully booked for the next 10 days.

Can someone please suggest something I've done wrong or have experience with this issue? Does someone have any pictures of both fuse box layouts?

    Thanks in advance

Can you put together a list of what you now have in each fuse slot? Then someone can compare it with what should be where.

As a tip, if you have suitable light you should be able to see that some slots have metal on both sides, and some have it only on one (the "rail" from upstream fuse, but noting connected on the other side). Do all the slots with metal on both sides have a fuse in? If not check just left and right for one with metal only on one side. That's the one you put back in the wrong place .

Is it the same wiring as a Sharan perhaps? Look at fuse 54.

EDIT: Based on this it looks like same: https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...10#post1037010

I've fixed it!! I had a fuse in the wrong slot.

I phoned a garage with an identical car for sale and asked if they could take a photo of the fuse box. Identifying it immediately.

The layout of the fuse boxes seem to be a frequently asked question on this forum, is there a way to pin a diagram to the top of the forum in FAQ's?
