Can anyone help me to locate in the UK, (at a sensible price) a window winder for my 2012 A6 C7 Avant drivers door - RHS? I have tried searching the internet but nearly all suppliers appear to be in Germany around the Berlin region. I have purchased one from a supposed UK site which did not fit and now have the rigmarole and expense of returning it. No response to my emails!
    the part number is 4G0 837 46259A47638-38ED-43FA-8C70-F0FADCF60A4E.jpg

There are a few on eBay where you can see that part number if you set item location to UK.

Which part is broken? The green wheels are available as a repair part I think.

Hi I use these people, they are in Germany but found them very good, ordered a clutch master cylinder for my TT from them turned out it was the wrong one a quick call and the correct one ordered and free return on the wrong one. Only down side is it takes about a week to arrive. Highly recommend them.

It’s the cable that has snapped and I don’t fancy threading a new one in! Will check ebay again.

VAG do repair kits for the cables on some of the units. Can't see one listed for that set though. You don't so much thread them in but get the right length loop and "load" the rollers. a bit like a bike chain - one edge over roller then turn it to use lever effect. Seems too short until you get it on...

Yes they are slow on email but they have a Uk phone number it’s eigther on the invoice or order email can’t Romberg which. They will ask for your vin then tell you the correct part you need. Then a few days later they send you a return label via DHL which you use at the post office to return. They refund you once they have received the wrong one and confirmed it has not been used. Bit of a pain, in future I will just phone them if I’m not sure which item I need, be easer that way.

That’s what’s happening now. Used their online chat and eventually received a link to the correct part which I have now ordered. They say “You will be sent a separate message with a return shipping label that you can use to post us the parcel at no charge” but haven’t received anything yet. You say you got your label via DHL - perhaps it has changed? I’ll give them a few days before I contact them again. Thanks!

Hi mine was just over a week ago they did say DHL were running slow think it was 2-3 working days before the return email came in, keep an eye on your junk email folder you never know. I first received an email from parts people saying it was ok to return the part, it stated I would receive the return label in a separate email which is what happened. Think things may be a bit slow due to COVID.
