I've been trying to eliminate this lag when moving from stationary, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator and some peddle press combo to re learn the box my driving style...

Is there a no nonsense way of just making this thing go when it's told to?

I read that, but after the lag comes a jolt of wheel spin I'm sure it should be a softer start than that.

It is a troublesome system prone to all manner of problems, I have bought broken ones newer than yours for a monkey, had the box professionally rebuilt (£3.5k) prepped the car for sale with new covers and refurbished rims, service etc and struggled to turn a few quid profit when descended on by four Eastern European’s all of a sudden one Saturday afternoon... one reason I got out of used car sales, far too much stress.

Its the only thing i don't like about this car, its a stunner otherwise, i'm tempted to try a remap as a last resort.

Doesn't always work as needs, developer coding to the TCU .

Try a pedal box first like a Sprint Booster with a 30 day satisfaction no risk return .

I did this today with VCDS, Sucuri WebSite Firewall - Access Denied my vcds showed reset All adaptations in the drop down so i selected that and felt the difference in the gearbox form the off. I will monitor how it goes over the next few days of driving and post back. If we're good i think i'll get an ECU remap.

The lag has 90% gone, so at the minute I reckon it's as its intended to be. So glad of the vcds reset.
